Description
The Smart BMS CL 12/100 is a battery management system for
Victron lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) smart batteries. He has
designed specifically for 12V systems with a 12V generator.
The BMS CL 12/100 monitors and protects each individual
battery cell inside the battery (or battery bank) and disconnects the battery cell from the
the generator, charging sources or DC loads to the generator, charging sources or DC loads in
in case of low battery voltage, high battery voltage or excessive battery voltage
temperatures.
The special alternator power supply provides current limitation and
one-way traffic from the generator to the battery, so that
any size of alternator (and starter battery) can be
securely connected to the Smart Lithium battery or batteries.
The BMS system is also equipped with a remote
switch, to turn off the BMS (and the system) via
remote control and a warning contact to give a warning to give a
warning signal before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the
system.
