Description
The Cyrix battery combiner is an amplified relay controlled by a microprocessor that automatically connects the batteries installed
in parallel when a battery reaches the preset voltage (as an indication that the battery is being charged) and disconnects them when the voltage falls below
from the swing voltage (as an indication that one or more batteries are discharged).
Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent replacement for diode buffers.
Their main feature is that they have almost zero voltage loss, so that the output voltage of the alternators or the
battery chargers do not need to be increased.
