The EBT420 Battery Validation Tool is connected to the OBD port
The validation tool is used to ensure that vehicles with an Engine Control Unit (ECU),
or Central Electronic Control Unit, know that a new battery has been installed so that the appropriate charge rate can be set.
This is necessary after each battery replacement.
